Do I need an account to start?

No. You can log workouts, save routines and view your history without an account. Sign in when you want to use Coach.

Can I train without an internet connection?

Yes. Your saved routines and workout log work offline. You’ll need internet to sign in, use Coach, load exercise videos, make purchases or download new content.

Where can I find the app walkthrough?

Open Settings and choose the tutorial. You can revisit it whenever you need a reminder.

How do I find or add an exercise?

In Exercises, search by name or filter by muscle group. If a movement is missing, add it as a custom exercise. You’ll find cardio activities in the Cardio section.

What happens when I finish a training plan?

GymTracker suggests a follow-up block based on your previous plan and completed workouts. Review it before you start, or browse other plans. The follow-up suggestion is free; some plans in the library require Premium.

What is included in Progress?

You can explore strength trends, training volume, body measurements, cardio and milestones. The detailed views are included in Premium; ad-supported access may also be offered in the app. Charts appear as you record enough workouts or measurements to show a trend.

How do I move my training history to a new phone?

On your old phone, open Settings → Backup & Restore and export a password-protected backup. Transfer the file to your new phone, then restore it in the same menu using your password. Signing in does not transfer your workout history.

Does signing in sync my workouts?

No. Signing in gives you access to your account, including Coach. Your workouts stay on your phone. To move your history to another phone, use Backup & Restore in Settings.

How do I delete my account?

Open your profile from Settings, choose Delete account and confirm. If you can’t access the app, follow the guide below to request deletion by email. Cancel any subscription in your store settings and delete exported backup files separately.

What can I use for free?

Free includes workout logging, history, three active routines, three custom plans and a follow-up block when your plan ends. Archived routines and routines within a plan don’t count toward the three-routine limit.

Will I lose my history when Premium ends?

No. You keep your workouts, history and saved active plan. Paid features remain available until your subscription expires. You can manage or cancel it in the App Store or Google Play.

How does GymTracker Coach work?

Coach is an AI assistant that can help with routines, plans and questions about your training. Sign in and connect to the internet to use it. Free includes 100 messages a month and Premium includes 500, shared with other AI requests in the app. The allowance resets on the first of each month at midnight UTC. You control what you share and approve changes before they’re saved.

Can I use GymTracker on my watch?

GymTracker works with Apple Watch paired to iPhone and Wear OS paired to Android. Use your watch to log sets and manage rest during a workout. Check your store listing for device compatibility.

Do I have to connect health data?

No. Connecting Apple Health on iPhone or Health Connect on Android is optional. You choose which permissions to allow and can change them in your phone’s settings.

Why does my store show a different version?

Updates can reach devices and countries at different times. GymTracker’s App Store or Google Play page shows the version currently available for your device.
